Mercedes-Benz AG selects Certivity: Munich-based AI startup sets new standard for compliance technology

Certivity integrates Regulatory Intelligence directly into engineering processes, accelerating homologation, development, and compliance.

Following a comprehensive evaluation, Mercedes-Benz AG has selected Certivity as its new platform for Regulatory Intelligence and Compliance. To date, Mercedes-Benz had relied on an internal in-house solution in this area. 

The decision comes at a time of increasing regulatory complexity. New emissions standards, cybersecurity regulations, battery legislation, and safety requirements are evolving at unprecedented pace. For automotive manufacturers, it has become critical to identify regulatory changes early, assess them precisely, and integrate them efficiently into existing processes. 

Certivity embeds Regulatory Intelligence as a direct component of engineering workflows - from homologation to series development. Regulatory information and updates are structured and can be analyzed for their impact on products, systems, and existing requirements. 

In existing use cases, Certivity enables a reduction in regulatory research time of up to 80 percent and accelerates analysis processes by up to 75 percent.
